Mitakpa
In the mountain village of Nyisal, in-between Nepal's remotest edge and Tibet's border where roads do not reach and winters stretch endlessly, Mitakpa finds its heart in Nema Tashi, the lone teacher of the half-built Shree Yanjer school. Each day, in narrow corridors of stone and timber, he gathers the village children and teaches with nothing more than his voice, his patience, and his belief in the power of learning. Mitakpa is a portrait of one man’s endurance and the fragile beauty of hope in a place where survival itself demands everything.
